Guest Speaker Ps. Simon McIntyre

Sunday August 8 at 10:00am
Never boring, at times unpredictable and certainly memorable. The Secretary of C3 Church Global, Simon is a founding member of C3 Church Oxford Falls and over the years has played a vital role in the growth and development of this great church and the movement of churches birthed from it (you name it – he’s done it). Simon is in constant demand in the C3 Church movement, where he oversees churches, organizes conferences, preaches and teaches, drinks coffee, and by his own admission “thoroughly enjoys himself.” He is unique in his perspective of the Christian life; his messages are always thought-provoking and fun! Simon has three great children, a beautiful daughter-in-law, son-in-law and three grandchildren. He also likes to fly aerobatic planes for fun – fun for him – maybe not for others!

In a world where faith is fading and integrity is rare, the life of Joseph in The Old Testament shines like a brilliant star in the nighttime sky, showing us that following God brings hope even in the worst of circumstances. In Joseph, Chuck Swindoll reveals to us a man buffeted with the same kinds of problems we face today—or worse—whose tenacious faith in God ultimately won him great honor and achievement.

No family today is more dysfunctional than Joseph’s. No one today faces greater temptation than Potiphar’s wife offered Joseph. No faith today is challenged more severely than was Joseph’s on death row in an Egyptian prison. Yet Joseph stood firm, modeling for us what is possible when ordinary people maintain their connections with God.
